During a recent meeting with Malcolm he mentioned the Will writing portion of his service portfolio and it dawned on me that the wills of my wife and I were not only over 20 years old but had been drawn up in Scotland! Must be time for an update?

To our surprise, did NOT sign us up for a new pair of Wills there and then… No, he took copies of our existing Wills away for a review by an expert to see if we actually needed to spend money on new ones, or if our existing Wills would suffice.

As it turned out, the expert confirmed our expectation, these old Scottish Wills were not worth the paper they were typed on (yes typed, as on a typewriter – remember them?)
Needless to say, we now have new Wills in place that define exactly ’who gets what, when’ (should we fail in our ambition of blowing every penny on ourselves before we leave this world ;o) which seems fair… as our children already have far more now than we ourselves did at the same stage of our lives, so they really don”t need any further help… do they? ;o)

I recently had to claim on my insurance. There were a couple of complications with the claim. Malcolm was a great support throughout – always answered calls and emails very promptly. My claim has now been settled satisfactorily and I would like to thank Malcolm for his support.

I wonder how many people have an insurance policy, a mortgage, an ISA or whatever, that has through time gathered momentum of its own?
A few weeks ago I listened to Malcolm state that he would be able to better any current buildings and contents policy, so I dug mine out of the fire safe and gave him a photocopy…
Imagine my delight when he informed me he could replace my £74 per month Halifax policy with one that had even better cover and for just under £28 per month!
Thus saving me in excess of £550 per annum

In February our home contents and buildings insurance became due for renewal.
Having heard many great things from members of the Falcons BNI chapter about the cover provided, I passed a referral to Malcolm for a quote.
Malcolm was prompt in taking the details from us and passing them onto the insurance company for consideration. The company contacted us the same day to check the details and provide us with a quote.
In the past our premiums have been high as we had a claim a few years ago that was quite costly. However, the quote from Malcolm was cheaper and, as others have testified before, provided much better cover, In addition, we could pay for our insurance on a monthly basis with no additional fees or interest added, thus keeping the payment low.
We are very pleased with our cover and have already recommended Malcolm to a number of other people.

I’d just like to take this opportunity to thank you and the team for your excellent service. My buildings & contents home insurance were due in the New Year and as usual I was going to stick with my normal supplier as they provided good cover at competitive premiums. However after I was introduced to Malcolm I was happy to pass my details so he could provide me with an alternative quote.
I have to say the whole process from start to finish was outstanding, quick and pain free.
